On behalf of the women of the Imani Kuumba Graduate Chapter of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc. I am honored to welcome you to our website. I hope it will be helpful to you as you learn more about our goals and initiatives as a service based organization.

Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc. is a non-profit organization created in 1969, dedicated to community service, promoting, and achieving academic excellence, and enhancing community and cultural consciousness.

Chartered in March, 2011, the Imani Kuumba Graduate Chapter of New Jersey, was formed to stimulate physical, social, and economic development in Central and Northern New Jersey.  Our chapter has proudly developed scholarship and book award programs to assist high school seniors in pursing their education goals.  The Karen L. Wall Scholarship program has awarded over $65,000 in scholarships.

We take pride enhancing our national initiative Supplies for Success program.  We locally provide school supplies and assist students (K – 12) with starting their school year with the appropriate essentials.

With a host of community projects, we happily volunteer and dedicate our time to strengthen our local communities. Within Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship Inc.'s 50 years of existence and service, Imani Kuumba Graduate Chapter of New Jersey, has had the privilege of working with and recognizing those who have dared to be different and create a new kind of infusion.

I personally thank and appreciate all of the support we have received.  Furthermore, we hope you will begin to experience the richness of our advocacy work to strengthen and build our local communities.

Warmest Regards,

Cynthia Johnson

Chapter President
